Interested in making a difference for domestic and sexual abuse survivors? Become an advocate on Response’s 24-hour Crisis Helpline!
As a Volunteer Advocate, you will be answering crisis calls, providing short-term support and crisis intervention for survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. To become a Certified Volunteer Advocate, you would need to complete the 30-hour intensive training which consists of online training sessions and online modules, to provide you with the information and skills you would need to take calls. Once certified, you may also be eligible for a paid back-up position with Response!
